White White Plains, NY (April 10, 2025) –

When the 2025 NTT INDYCAR season kicked off last month, it was a pivotal point in the mindsets of two of America’s rising professional racing stars.  The green flag flew for the first time in the 2025 season at the INDYCAR and USF Pro Championship season openers in St Petersburg, FL just a few weeks ago, and for Michael and Nick d’Orlando, it was an especially tough moment to have to watch it all unfold from the sidelines.  But since the realization that a full-season budget would not be fulfilled by St Pete, the racing brothers have taken the emotional gut-punch as another form of motivation…. the motivation to swing their attention to their personal and professional growth.

Physical fitness is a top priority.  Michael has been a consistent fixture at U-REC training facility on his college campus and his commitment to training is unmatched. With such a tall frame at 6’5”, attempts to build more size is a bit of a challenge, but his slim build is also his biggest asset since weight is a key component to a fast race car.  He works extremely hard to build the stamina and physical strength required to provide him the ability to compete on any street course, road course or oval circuit, such as the 2024 Indy NXT Nashville Grand Prix, effortlessly.

Nick’s athletic ability and strength rival the sport's top professional drivers. It's a daily commitment to maintain the endurance and strength required to complete a taxing 45-60 minute sprint race, and also the size to meet weight and cockpit restrictions. His years of training in UFC or boxing style programs provide him with a serious punch (literally and figuratively) and is the perfect platform to help achieve his goals.

For any athlete, the mental aspect of sitting on the sidelines from competition can wear on the mind. The brother’s work continuously to shift these negative thoughts into something more productive.

As part of their individual brand development, both boys are not only working on completing their Business Marketing degree at UNC Charlotte, but they are also working with friends and industry leaders to help them navigate and learn the social media landscape.   They have become more personally active in this development, recognizing that this is a landscape highly valued by partners and sponsors in the motorsport world.

Their dynamic personalities and professional images are a consistent fixture at prestigious events throughout the country. They love to be a part of the broader racing community. Recently, either of them could be found at media events across various racing series, invitation-only luxury car unveilings and/or private motorsport club events like Flatrock Motorclub’s grand opening in Tennessee and the inaugural Heritage Invitational at the new Ten Tenths Motor Club in Charlotte, NC.

The brothers have recently expanded on their love of motorsports to the growing car culture in the North Carolina area.  Partnering with a close college friend (and professional photographer), they have launched Performance Inspired, an organization geared to local car enthusiasts who share the same passion for almost anything with some horsepower under the hood. Performance Inspired is in its early development stages but stay tuned to its Instagram account (@performanceinspired) for further progress.

Although some may see this time off-track as a pause in their racing careers, Michael and Nick see this as just another phase in their professional development as race car drivers.  They continue to work with and build B2B relationships with their current partners, such as Rising Star Racing and Priority Technology Holdings, and with a plethora of contacts in the corporate real estate and construction industry in the New York tri-state region.  They remain forward-focused, motivated and excited for what’s ahead and are poised and ready for when the call comes in to get back in that race seat.
